Introduction

Control up to 8 USB or PS/2 computers remotely over an IP network or the internet
The SV841HDIEGB 8 Port Rack Mount USB PS/2 Digital IP KVM Switch offers cost-effective and secure, local and remote administration of up to 8 systems over a LAN or the Internet.
Unlike software solutions that work through the operating system, this IP KVM Switch delivers BIOS level control, full boot processes interaction and control over a TCP/IP connection as if you are on site. Featuring support for security protocols such as SSH, SSL and RADIUS, and a configurable firewall for added protection.
A scalable KVM solution supporting up to 8 directly-connected computers, or cascade with other KVM switches for control of up to 64 computers. For added control, using the RPORT module (sold separately) lets you interact with any device that uses an RS-232 serial terminal (routers, switches, etc.).
Backed by a StarTech.com 3-year warranty and free lifetime technical support.
The StarTech.com Advantage
- Reboot attached systems, access the BIOS, and have full control over the keyboard and mouse - as if you are on site
- User friendly access through an OSD or the integrated web server saves configuration time and frustration
- Supports 16 bit video for a richer quality of picture when accessing the remote server either through the web browser or VNC client
