Introduction
The DIGITUS® USB Type-C to DisplayPort Adapter Cable supports transmission from USB Type-C sources to DP-capable displays.
- USB Type C to DisplayPort Bi-directional Adapter Cable
- Supports transmission from USB Type-C interface to DisplayPort interface
- Supports transfer from DisplayPort interface to USB Type C interface
- Supports DP Alt-Mode
- Supports DisplayPort 1.4 version and is backwards-compatible (DP 1.3/1.2/1.1)
- Supports resolutions of up to 8K (7680x4320) with a display refresh rate of up to 30Hz.
- Avoid adapters with a Plug and Play cable adapter that does not require external power supply
- Type-C™ plug can be used on both sides
The DIGITUS® USB Type C <=> DisplayPort bidirectional adapter cable supports the transfer from a USB Type C source to a DisplayPort interface. Likewise, it supports the transfer from a DisplayPort source to a USB Type-C interface. For example, you can connect your laptop (USB Type-C equipped) to your monitor, TV or projector (DisplayPort interface) or you can connect your PC (DisplayPort output) to a monitor (USB Type-C interface). Power is supplied via the USB port, so no external power source is necessary.
